Areas We Cover For Roofing & Building Services

From The North, this is Randles Roofing and Building Services…

Randles Roofing and Building Services cover most of Northern England.  Based on the outskirts of Todmorden, we are perfectly placed for Lancashire and Yorkshire.  If you want to be really pedantic, we also cover West Yorkshire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester.  Our footprint covers the main towns and cities of Northern England, with a potential customer base of 10 million people.  These include:

Halifax

Noted for the newly refurbished Piece Hall and its former building society (now part of the Bank of Scotland), it is a short distance from our base in Todmorden.

Bradford

An iconic city once noted for its woollen industry. It is also the home of the National Media Museum, and Sir Titus Salt’s model village, Saltaire, is only a short drive, bus, or train ride away.

Leeds

The largest city in Yorkshire with notable buildings including Cuthbert Broderick’s Town Hall and the Henry Moore Gallery on The Headrow. It also has the third-largest financial centre outside London and is also home to the Royal Armouries Museum.

Burnley

Close to Todmorden, Burnley is the gateway to the Pendle hills. It was also home to the Pendle Witches, immortalised in alcoholic form by Moorhouse’s Brewery. Some of their names appear on buses seen on the X43 Witch Way route to Manchester.

Blackburn

The former cotton-spinning town is neatly placed for the East Lancashire hills towards Clitheroe. It is famous for Thwaites Brewery, whose most revered ale, Wainwright, is named after legendary cartographer and author Alfred Wainwright.

Rochdale

In addition to cotton, the Lancashire town has a proud musical heritage. Particularly with Dame Gracie Fields and Lisa Stansfield. It is also a Lancastrian gateway to the Pennines with Hollingworth Lake and Blackstone Edge some of the town’s man-made landmarks.

Oldham

Since the cotton industry left Oldham, the town has reinvented itself as a gateway to the Pennines. The town centre has undergone some great changes, including the arrival of a new cinema in its former town hall. It is also close to picturesque Saddleworth villages like Delph, Denshaw, Uppermill, and Greenfield.

Manchester

For many people, Manchester is considered as the Second City to London. It is noted for its role in labour history, the Industrial Revolution, its football teams, and musical history. It is popular with students owing to its social scene and scientific heritage. These have made Manchester city centre a popular destination for concerts and short breaks.
